Your video, audio and subtitle files are opened and processed inside your browser only. They are never uploaded. The page makes no analytics, advertising or tracking requests. The web server that hosts this page may keep ordinary access logs (for example your IP address and the page requested), as any web server does.
When you press "Convert to playable audio", this page loads FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly (vendor/ffmpeg/core/ffmpeg-core.wasm).
It is loaded only on that action, from this same server, and only reads audio from your own file to produce an AAC file on your device.

Some audio and video formats (for example AAC, AC-3, DTS, H.264, HEVC) are covered by patents in some countries. Playing video uses the codecs of your own browser or operating system. This site does not provide a patent license; if you use the conversion feature commercially, check the rules that apply to you.
